CLEVELAND, Ohio - The National Weather Service issued a flood advisory for portions of Cuyahoga and Lake counties Monday morning, with more rain expected in the area. The advisory issued at 9:22 a.m. lasts until 11:15 a.m. Excessive rain could lead to minor flooding in 'low-lying and poor drainage areas,' the weather service said, noting that 0.5 to 1 inches of rain is possible in addition to the 1 to 1.5 inches that had already fallen. Areas that will experience flooding, the weather service said, include Cleveland, Willowick, Parma, Lakewood, Euclid, Mentor, Cleveland Heights, Strongsville, Willoughby, Eastlake, Warrensville Heights, Highland Hills, Timberlake, Lakeline, Garfield Heights, Shaker Heights, Maple Heights, South Euclid, Parma Heights and Rocky River.
