Apr. 21—The Ohio Market Access Program administered by Ohio Treasurer Robert Sprague has helped Kirtland enter the market and save an estimated $9,306 in interest costs over the next year while also helping Euclid save an estimated $1,162. Load Error This issuance marks the eighth time that Kirtland has utilized OMAP to achieve savings and the sixth time for Euclid, according to a news release. The OMAP credit enhancement will help both cities achieve interest cost savings. Kirtland's original note was issued to finance vehicle acquisitions and various projects including road, equipment, and HVAC system improvements; while Euclid's original note was issued to finance the purchase of motor vehicles.
